Nancy Torres

My name is Nancy K. Torres and I have been in the district since 2003.  I started out teaching 1st grade and switched to Academic Intervention.  I love teaching students in small groups and supporting teachers in any capacity in order to best assist my students.  My family has been in New Brunswick for over 80 years.  They are involved a great deal in various capacities within the community and I am proud of being a part of such an amazing family.  I graduated from New Brunswick High School and went to Rutgers for my undergraduate studies.  I later finished my masters and continued to educate myself in various ways. I am an active member of the PTA local and on a county level.  I love being a mother to a daughter who is an example of perfect, unconditional love.  I really enjoy working with children and being active within my community.
